2.Bundesliga

Koblenz- Köln: Köln -0.5 @ 2.10 !! 2 units!!

That is my biggest play of the weekend.
Koblenz new in the league is off to a decent start , but nothing special. They will play in the bottom half of the table the whole year. They lost last week to Jena, who is also not particually strong and are still missing some key players as they did in last weeks loss.
Köln on the other hand is one of the top favs for promotion. although getting only draws in last 3 matches they played really well and they faced twice other top-teams. They are clearly the better team and will look absolutely for 3 points today. there will be no holding back.
What makes this play especially strong is the fact that it will not be a home game for Koblenz.
Koblenz is playing in a small arena which can hold ca. 14000 fans.
Officially 6500 tickets went to Köln (which is about one hour away from Koblenz), but Koblenz was asked to sell !! 40000!!! tickets. This demand for tickets is not coming from Koblenz-fans.
The arena will be packe with 90 % Köln fans tonight. I know it from own experience that the atmosphere in Köln away games which are close by is amazing...this will be a home game for Köln and therefore to get a -0.5 (i played it myself earlier even at pk,-0.5) is the gift of the weekend.

Freiburg- Braunschweig: Freiburg -1,-1.5 @ 1.83

Freiburg is on the uptrend and is lately playing to their potential. Two wins in a row now and coming of the impressive away win at Kaiserlautern last monday. Braunschweig meanwhile is struggeling big time and has complete chaos in the club and team right now.

Leverkusen- Mainz: Leverkusen -1 @ 1.82

it s not a play on leverkusen it s more against Mainz. Mainz is at thebottom and has not won a game after the first this season. they are struggeling in all aspects of the game right now. Leverkusen is sometimes playing well, sometimes not. But if they show up it is at home. so i like them to win here and hopefully by 2 goals.

Aachen- Stuttgart: Stuttgart pk,-0.5 @ 1.92 and over 2.5,3 @1.88

The over is the obvious play with both teams scoring and conceiding a lot..the total should normally be set at least at 3.
The side play is according tot he recent trends. While stuttgart is unbeaten in last 6 games and tends to play even better away than at home, aachen is struggeling over the last weeks after a surprising good start.

Wolfsburg- Hamburg: over 2,2.5 @ 1.92

Two struggeling teams here, but Hamburg is desperate at the moment. It s probably the last chance for coach Doll to produce a result. he changes the team in 4 key positions for today s game. New goalie, Sanoga (top striker of the team) , Luboja (striker) and madhavikia (defense) will all not be playing. Doll says he wants only players on the pitch which are really fighting for the club and these are the consequense. As a few youngsters (from the good regionalliga-team) are playing today i am not sure what to expect. They are probably not as good, but might be much more motivated. Wolfsburg on the other hand is not good enough to take easily care of Hamburg. Only thig i see is both teams going for a win, which should give us 3 goals today.

i am leaning towards cottbus, but still hope to get a +2..i ll wait on that and maybe add later.

Regionalliga Nord:

Dortmund- Lübeck: Lübeck pk,-0.5 @2.10

just look at the standings. No. 18 plays no.2. in addition Lübeck is on a good streak. Dortmund has no players from the first team involved as they are needed due to a saturday/tuesday schedule for bundesliga

2. Bundesliga

Fürth- Offenbach: Fürth -0.5,-1 @ 1.90

Fürth in the midfield right now is coming of a solid win and is normally the better team here. Offenbach is at the bottom and will play against relegation all season. Home win here looks good

1. Bundesliga

Schalke- München: Schalke pk @ 2.05

it s the top match in Bundesliga this weekend. Both team struggeling compared to their own expectations (but they are still 4th and 5th and can go 2nd today)and have many critics and trouble around the teams during the week.
München has struggled big time lately away,having 3 losses in a row. But they can focus more on the league now, since they clinched the next round in CL.
Schalke on the other hand struggles usually against weaker teams, but puts on a big efford vs. the big ones, especially at home. In the last 7 matches at home to München they have won 6 and drew just one. That s the most feared place for München to play in. I hope for the trend to continue in what should be a big fight.
